Graduated as a product designer with a great interest in photography, Sanne Kaal has always been focusing on innovatively exploring various materials. Through experimentation, she consistently discovers interesting finishes suitable for a wide range of objects and surfaces.
Where aesthetics and functionality are in balance, she gives rise to designs that frequently serve as fragments of an ongoing research rather than end results. This, combined with a fascination for colour combinations and the photographic documentation of products, objects and surroundings, results in a recognizable visual language; within her (product)design and photography.
